Hey Durham--how did you spend yours? We went to the beach in Maine with Ginny and crew. Best 4th ever, 2005: Stony Point Battlefield, NY. Revolutionary battle site on banks of Hudson river. Look it up. A Yankee uniformed geezer read the Declaration of Independence, afterwards, a cannon shot and Huzzahs all around. Then we all signed the declaration, (50 of us were there), and a woman played her hammered dulcimer by firefly light. No electricity, just candles and fireflies.
